This explains what we collect when you register for the free training, why we collect it, who it goes to, and how to get it removed. It is written to be read, not to be got past.
Who we are. Beyondset, run by Ryan Kelly. Beyondset is the data controller for everything described on this page, and our registered address is available on request.
Questions, or to have your details removed, email admin@beyondset.net and a person will read it.
1. What we collect
What you type in
When you register on this page we ask for, and store:
- Your first name, and your last name if you give it
- Your email address
- Your Instagram handle
- Your phone number, together with the country dialling code you pick
Your first name, email, Instagram handle and phone number are required to register. Last name is optional.
What you answer
After registering you are offered three optional questions about your income and whether you would consider a paid mentorship. You can skip them. If you answer, we store your answers against your registration so we know who to talk to and about what.
What your browser sends
When you submit the form we also record:
- Your IP address
- The Facebook click identifier (
fbclid) if you arrived from an ad - Any campaign tags in the link you clicked (
utm_sourceand the rest) - The date and time you registered
We use these to work out which ads actually bring people who turn up, and to catch duplicate or junk submissions.
2. Why we are allowed to hold it
- To give you the thing you asked for. We cannot put you on a live webinar without a name and an email to send the link to.
- Legitimate interests. Reminding you the session is starting, following up afterwards, and measuring which ads work.
- Consent. Marketing messages beyond this training, which you can withdraw at any time.
3. Who else sees it
We do not sell your details. We do pass them to the services that make the training and the follow up actually work:
| Service | What it gets | Why |
|---|---|---|
| WebinarJam | Name, email, phone | Hosts the webinar and sends your join link |
| Zapier | Everything you submitted | Moves your registration to the tools below |
| GoHighLevel | Name, email, phone, Instagram | Our CRM. Reminder emails and texts |
| Discord | Name, email, phone, Instagram | Notifies the team that you registered |
| Vercel | Everything you submitted | Hosts this site and keeps our own backup copy |
| Meta (Facebook and Instagram) | See section 4 | Advertising measurement |
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
4. Meta Pixel and tracking
This site runs the Meta Pixel (dataset 1467234068785785). It
tells Meta that a browser reached certain pages, so we can measure which ads
produce registrations and stop paying for the ones that do not.
The pixel sets cookies in your browser. You can block them in your browser settings, or through Meta's own ad settings, without losing access to the training. We do not use advertising cookies from any other network.
5. Where your details are held
Beyondset is established outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, and several of the services listed above are based in the United States. That means your details are transferred outside the UK and the EEA in order to run the training and follow up with you.
Where that happens we rely on your explicit consent to the transfer, given when you register, and we use standard contractual clauses with our providers where they offer them. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing admin@beyondset.net, and we will delete your record.
6. How long we keep it
- Registrations and survey answers: for as long as you are on our list, and up to 24 months after your last interaction with us.
- Technical records such as IP and click identifiers: up to 12 months.
- If you ask us to delete you, we do it and we do not keep a shadow copy, beyond the minimum record needed to honour an unsubscribe.
7. Your rights
If you are in Ireland, the UK or the EU, you can ask us to:
- Show you what we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it
- Stop using it for marketing, which you can also do from any email we send
- Send you a copy in a portable format
Email admin@beyondset.net and we will action it within 30 days. If you are not happy with how we handle it you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie, or to the ICO at ico.org.uk in the UK.
8. Children
This training is for adults. We do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has registered, email us and we will remove the record.
9. Changes
If this policy changes we update the date at the top. Material changes to what we collect or who we share it with will be flagged on the registration page itself.
